Shoily STEAM/AI Teacher Training Program (SSTT)
The Shoily STEAM/AI Teacher Training Program (SSTT) supports educators in low-resourced educational institutes by making science and technology education practical, engaging, and accessible. Through a focused workshop, teachers learn how to conduct hands-on STEAM/AI activities using low-cost available materials, while also being introduced to essential skills and concepts that help prepare them for the AI era. This ensures they can guide their students confidently in a rapidly changing world.
All lesson modules are developed by Shoily’s team of scientists, engineers, and educators. The activities cover core STEAM/AI concepts—science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics—and are aligned with the local curriculum, community needs, and available resources. Topics include real-life themes such as clean water, agriculture, health, environment, robotics, basic programming, and introductory AI awareness, helping teachers connect classroom learning to future job and innovation pathways.
The program also emphasizes effective, student-centered teaching methods that make learning more interactive and meaningful. After the workshop, Shoily provides follow-up support to help teachers implement the activities with confidence. Through SSTT, Shoily School aims to empower educators, strengthen STEAM/AI learning, and equip teachers with the skills and mindset needed to thrive in the AI-driven future.
