Explore, Create & Launch
Welcome to our interactive, fun-filled holiday camp where young minds become innovators, problem-solvers and mini-entrepreneurs! Over four weeks, campers will explore the fundamentals of entrepreneurship: spotting opportunities, designing a product or service, building a simple prototype (physical or digital), and presenting a “pitch” to their peers.
Much like our STEAM-style camps, this program blends creativity, real-world thinking and teamwork in a supportive environment.
What You’ll Do
-
Week 1 – Ideation & Brainstorming
Introduce what entrepreneurship means: what is a startup? what problems can we solve? Campers brainstorm ideas individually and in groups, pick one concept and start designing their business model. -
Week 2 – Prototype Building
Jump into creation mode! Using simple tools (craft supplies, drawing, whiteboard, tablet) or kid-friendly digital tools (block-based design, simple app mock-ups), campers build a prototype of their product/service. They identify target users and what value they deliver. -
Week 3 – Branding, Story & Strategy
Focus on how to tell your startup’s story: name, logo, user journey, benefit statement. Campers work on marketing materials (poster, slide, video clip) and refine their prototype based on feedback. -
Week 4 – Pitch & Celebration
Finalize the prototype + presentation. Each camper teams up (or presents individually) to “pitch” their startup idea to the group (and optionally parents). We wrap with a certificate of completion, reflection on what they learned, and ideas for what’s next!
